My life’s work is leveraging the power of words to help others thrive and discover timeless truths they can apply for personal and professional success. To execute this mission, I utilize the vehicles of executive coaching, writing and speaking, equipping both individuals and entities to grow in self-awareness, competencies and relationships in order to achieve higher performance and personal satisfaction. Currently I serve as a Nashville-based Leadership Development Manager with the 40,000-employee T-Mobile USA, and work with external clients from various industries based in Middle Tennessee and across the country: Executive CoachingCertified by The Gallup Organization as a strengths coach and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), I have spent several years helping leaders at all levels become more effective at leveraging their strengths in order to garner vital relationships and improved results. Clients have included physicians, hospital executives, IT and insurance leaders, mid-level managers in both health care and customer service, and front-line supervisors. I also have utilized my training and experiences as an ordained United Methodist pastor and former Morgan Stanley financial advisor to help hundreds of individuals achieve personal or financial growth. WritingI am an Addy-Award winning writer with more than 20 years of professional experience, helping clients from a marketing and editorial standpoint in fields such as higher education, religious publishing and organizational development, among others. I also am the author of the spiritual memoir Chased by the Wind and co-authored the books Wide Awake Leadership and mLearning. I am currently at work on a novel. SpeakingCertified by Development Dimensions International (DDI) as a professional facilitator, I have more than a decade of experience in speaking, teaching and facilitating before groups and audiences of many sizes in both the profit and non-profit spheres. Areas of focus have included career and leadership development; coaching and feedback; conflict resolution; customer service; emotional intelligence; mentoring; onboarding; spiritual growth; strengths; and team building. |
